1million people to watch me? Wtf!?

We crashed Sou couple of months ago in Dusseldorf airport just before my flight back to Istanbul. When she learned about what I do and my lifestyle, she told me that she wants to host a dinner.  We chatted for a while, tried to set a date and one day she texted me asking if I want to do something bigger. I said, hit me! She said the production company she works with is interested in filming a documentary about me to be broadcasted on TV. Do not take this as bragging, but I have to say that I lately am used to media attention, I said yes to the offer, but I was not like “WOW”..
It started to get exciting when I understood that they were going to shoot the whole dinner day of FoodieBackpacker and it was to be broadcasted on one of the biggest Tv channels of Germany, Pro7 in one of the most watched Tv Shows, Taff for 8 minutes! Ok, now, that is huge!

We did it on November 3rd. Started at 11am and when we were done it was midnight. It was a very fun, but also extremely exhausting day. Everyone I met that day, the crew, the host, the guests were all amazingly positive which made the experience even better for me. If you love what you do and if you are surrounded by positive people, it is hard to complain for being so much tired.. :)

So, to cut it short, today is the day. Big thanks to Sou BePunto for making this happen. Here is the link to the livestream and here are photos from the day.

I soon will be adding the link to watch it if you’ve missed it while livestreaming..
