I love cheese!
It is even more than that. If there were 3 things that I was to choose eating till the end of my life, one would be cheese.
While I was checking for activities in Amsterdam, I saw a cheese tasting event with a wine pairing and it didn’t even take 2mins to register and pay..
I was quite lucky that we were only 2 who joined the tasting that day, so it was more like a private lesson. Thanks to Anne, we learned a lot about cheese.
By the end of 1,5 hours, I was surprising myself with holding a glass of wine and saying “hmmm, this cheese tastes wood and should be 1,5 years old”..:) I even got a certificate, but no worries, I’ll keep on being humble ;)
Reypenaer Cheese is one of the companies that follows the old methods for ripening the cheese. No chemicals used. Instead they give their cheeses all the time they need to develop the rich taste..
If you are into cheese, don’t miss this out. They are charging only 15euoros for 6 different cheese tasting with wine pairing and you are getting a discount if you are gonna buy some cheese..
